Set up Roost
Do this after installing the theme.
1. Create your shop basics
Section titled “1. Create your shop basics”| Make this | Suggested name |

Add 4–8 coffee products with photos and short descriptions.
2. Fix your menu
Section titled “2. Fix your menu”In Admin, edit your main menu. Example:

Then open Customize → header → choose that menu.
3. Coffee details & subscriptions
Section titled “3. Coffee details & subscriptions”- Add coffee details
- Turn on filters for brew method and roast level (in the Search & Discovery app)
- Set up subscriptions
- In theme settings, paste your customer portal link (where subscribers manage plans)
4. Homepage photos
Section titled “4. Homepage photos”Open Customize on the home page and replace sample images.

Point “featured” sections at real collections.
5. Roaster story (optional)
Section titled “5. Roaster story (optional)”Add the Roaster story section on About (or a product page). Fill in name and story. Leave the name blank if you want the section hidden.
6. Quick check before publish
Section titled “6. Quick check before publish”- Home looks good on phone
- A product shows Subscribe when plans are set up
- Collection filters work
- Cart opens after Add to cart
- Checkout buttons appear on product and cart
Then click Publish.
