Subscriptions

Roost works with Shopify’s normal subscription tools. You set up plans in an app; Roost shows them on the product page and in the cart.

1. Pick a subscriptions app

Use one of these (or another app that uses Shopify selling plans):

• Shopify Subscriptions
• Recharge
• Skio

2. Create your plans

In the app:

1. Create plans (for example every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks).
2. Add a subscriber discount if you want.
3. Attach the plans to the coffee variants you want people to subscribe to.

3. Check a product page

Open a coffee that has a plan. You should see Subscribe and Buy once. If Subscribe is missing, the plan isn’t attached to that variant yet.

4. Customer portal link

Subscribers need a place to pause, skip, or cancel.

1. Open Customize → theme settings (gear).
2. Find Subscription portal URL.
3. Paste the portal link from your subscriptions app.

Common hiccups
